No Small Task!

"No small task" These Liberty Bells are huge weighing in at 300 lb. each.  However, the LHS Art 2 kids are up to the challenge. And the 1st round is definitely a knockout, but it's not over. Check out their hard work here and the 1st 4 Bells to be painted are ready to deliver.

If you would like more information on how to acquire a bell of your own,
please call 936.336.3611 or email Carol Skewes, publisher@thevindicator.com

Rotary Club Teaming up with the LHS ART Room

Rotary Club of Liberty's "Ring in Rotary's 90th with a Liberty Bell" Campaign is in full swing! In case you haven't heard here is what's happening...

"The Liberty Rotary Club will be 90 years old in 2015 and we want to celebrate with two very good causes in mind: Polio Plus and the Liberty Bell Tower.
Our Polio Plus Committee is co-chaired by Rotarians Bill Brackin and Skeet Raggio. They came up with the idea to paint the town with Liberty Bells, concrete Liberty Bells that is.
The Rotary Club of Liberty is selling replica Liberty Bells, designed out of concrete, each weighing 300 pounds (and standing about 3' high) to decorate Liberty. The bell will be delivered to your home or business and can be decorated by you or you can hire the LHS Art Department to decorate it for you, for a $50 additional fee. The bell itself costs $300. Half the proceeds go to the Liberty Bell Tower reconstruction fund. Order yours now. Deliveries begin Feb. 2015."

For information on how to order yours, please contact the Rotary Club of Liberty at 832.477.7314
