2018 HLSR School Art Highlights

On January 12, 2018, the LHS Cafeteria was overflowing with anticipation to hear who would be representing Liberty ISD at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Hayloft Gallery (Feb. 27 - Mar. 18, 2018.) Over a 100 supportive parents, teachers, and friends came to see over 200 pieces of art that Liberty ISD students had worked so hard on. These students were under the direction of Mrs. Elene Takach, San Jacinto Elementary; Mrs. Michelle Casey, LES; Mrs. Angela Brooks, LMS and Mrs. Charlotte Tarbell, LHS.

Due to changes in the judging process, finalists were chosen locally before going to Houston on Jan. 6, 2018, to be considered for the big prizes of Best of Show and Gold Medals guaranteeing a spot in Houston.
