2016 V.A.S.E. - Third time's the charm!


3rd Year / 9 Students / 10 Artworks / 7 Regional Medals

"Some people dream of meeting their favorite artists... I teach mine."

Standing before you is an amazing group of artists brave enough to put themselves and their work in a position to be judged. And although not all received an award, they are all winners and hopefully learned something from this endeavor.

The Newbies...
Lidia Ochoa has proved her prowess as an artist and has won awards at TVE and the HLSR Liberty District Shows for 2015 & 2016. The judge commented that "she could almost hear a gasp from the portrait." She was awarded a perfect score and a medal.

Freshmen Rosa Garcia and Emily Connelly are also proving to be accomplished artists in their own right and I look forward to watching them grow through their high school careers.
